Howard. Last name Harmer... J R M A R

Ok I hope Howie doesn't kill me for posting this but this is a moment I don't ever want to forget so I'm blogging it! Howie and I have traveled OUT of SF every "weekend" (I put quotes because our weekends really are Monday and Tuesday)since we've been here! Therefore, we have checked into our fair share of hotel rooms. One morning I was explaining to Howie that he was talking in his sleep the night before but I couldn't make out what he was saying because he was really quiet and mumbling. He adamately said, "Whatever, I DO NOT talk in my sleep!" I responded, "ya that's what you said about snoring too" but I got smart and recorded the evidence once so now he believes me that he snores. Anyways, back to the story. So I told him the next time I woke up to him talking in his sleep, I was going to record it! Well, a couple nights ago I woke up to him talking in his sleep. So I reached over to grab my phone to catch him in the action but no need... I could, for sure, make out what he was saying because he repeated it 3 times in a row.... "Howard. Last name Harmer. J R M A R. Howard. Last name Harmer. J R M A R. Howard Last name Harmer. J R M A R. Oh my gosh I was trying so hard to not bust out laughing and unfortunately I didn't get to the video camera on my phone fast enough to catch him in action!! It was 5:00 a.m. so I got up and went to the bathroom and when I came back Howie rolled over and kind of woke up. So I slightly mentioned... "talking in your sleep again baby?" He said, "No I wasn't!" So I asked, "Were you checking into a hotel in your dream?... Howard. Last name Harmer. J R M A R!!!?" He popped up and said, "Ya they denied my card!" Oh my gosh we lost it laughing! I mentioned maybe they denied his card because the spelling he gave them didn't match the name on the card. J R M A R! He said, "I was really spelling it J R M A R?" Oh that Howie. So funny! All of you that know me well, know that I do not like to be woken up at 5 a.m. but this was one occassion that made it worth waking up that early! And the fact that I could confirm what Howie's dream was about, he's now a believer that he indeed talks in his sleep. I love that boy! =o)

We finally decided it was time to start a blog considering we have done SOoooo many blog worthy things since we were married 4 months ago! It will take me a while to get it up to date but I promise I will get there. (Top priority right now is definitely getting wedding "thank-you's" out... ahhh!)
Howie and I have been loving married life and actually spending time together! It's crazy we went from only seeing eachother on weekends to seeing eachother 24 hours a day, literally!! It's been so fun working at Del Sol together (along with our co-couple Josh and Melissa Shaw). We have been loving San Francisco but especially everything California has to offer! In the past 2 months we've been able to explore pretty much everything worth doing and seeing in California. We've been to the Redwoods, The Lost Coast Highway and Black Sands Beach, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Monterey, Carmel (including 17 mile drive), Big Sur, Solvang (the cutest little city in California! If you haven't been there you should go!), Santa Barbara, Hearst Castle, LA, Disneyland, 49ers vs. Saints game, SF Giants vs. Diamondbacks game (plus we are also going to one of the World Series games considering they just shut out the Phillies last night)... whew... I'm pretty sure I've left a few things out but boy oh boy have we loved seeing all of it! And yes I will post in more detail about each trip along with posting pictures. Life couldn't be better! We LOVE Del Sol and this experience! We have felt so blessed to be where we are and also to be having the success we are having at the Pier 39 store and to have such an awesome team here! We don't get to spend much time with the other couple considering they are working when we're not but they are incredible and do an awesome job and we have for sure made two life long friends! We hope you are all well and we think about everyone often and miss you all! Happy Fall and we hope to see some of you during the Holidays!
