HaPpY HaLLoWeeN FRoM ThE FLiNStoNeS... I MeAn HaRmeRs!

Our Halloween festivities kicked off on Tuesday night when we made our way over to the Shaw's to carve pumpkins, and have Melissa's homemade Chili (of course in a sourdough bread bowl) which was delicious! I think we left their house around 2:30 AM and all of us were Sooo tired but our pumpkins turned out pretty darn cute! We kept it "close to home" by carving things that have to do with California. Josh carved the Golden Gate Bridge, Melissa carved our beloved California Govenor Arnold (which both of theirs took some major skill... I would have never been able to pull off either of those), Howie carved the GIANTS, and I stuck with the Del Sol logo (with a lot of help from the carving master, Josh!)

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we dressed up in our costumes at work and that was a lot of fun!

Howie made an awesome Fred Flinstone and was a huge hit on the Pier! I'm pretty sure he would be hired by Disney in a second if they saw him out waving to the kids and taking pictures with all the tourists! Josh and Melissa were clearly the 2 cutest pumpkins in our Del Sol pumpkin patch!

Sunday night we invited the Shaw's over for dinner and a scary movie! We made some fun halloween appetizers and watched Hocus Pocus (I think Howie only jumped once which was pretty good considering he doesn't like scary movies... oh wait... that's right, Hocus Pocus is a Disney movie. LoL)

Needless to say our 1st Halloween together was so much fun and one we will always remember.
